I am so happy to see the response this website has started to generate. I knew Joaquim had other fans out there. In fact, I figured he had to have a ton of them! He's too good an actor not to have a huge following. Each day, the traffic to this website is increasing. Word is spreading!

I'm now just starting to receive emails from people who find this page. I love hearing from you! Joaquim's fans are pulling together to make this a great site - such as sharing photos, wav and midi files and encouragement.

It also shows me that Joaquim is truly an internationally acclaimed actor, for as the emails show me - his fans come from all over the world. Well, of course Portugal and Brazil - but also Italy, England, Germany, Greece, Mexico, and even Botswana!

Several of you have asked about me - and how I came to start this page. I've been a fan of Joaquim for several years. He first came to my attention in Clear and Present Danger. One of my first thoughts was, "Why haven't I seen more of this actor?"

I was also surprised when I didn't find a website for him. I couldn't believe someone hadn't done one! I kept looking for well over a year before I decided that I might as well do one.

And no... I've never met him. So, sorry - I don't have any "insider knowledge"! He has been in touch, and when he imparts info, I gladly share it.

As for what I do for a living - I'm a writer. Guess I get to say I'm an author instead. I've got a book out called The Meditation Sourcebook: Meditation for Mortals.

And... Joaquim is mentioned in the book! :)

I'm in the process of writing other books (why write just one when you can work on several? **grin**). As for other things, I am known on the Internet as The Cyber Psychic. I am the webmaster of one of the largest New Age sites on the 'net. I travel all around the world leading workshops and seminars. Joaquim is my favorite actor, but other actors I admire are Russell Crowe, William Fichtner and Tommy Lee Jones. William Fichtner has been in such films as Armageddon (he played the shuttlecraft pilot), Contact (Dr. Kent Clark), SwitchBack, Albino Aligator, Quiz Show, Virtuosity and several others. I think both Russell Crowe and Tommy Lee Jones are fairly well known.

I'm originally from New Hampshire, but have recently moved to Sedona, Arizona. I was here more than there, so it saves on air fare... Incidentally, many films are shot here, so I have hopes that Joaquim will make one here one day.
