I receive many emails from Joaquim's fans, and I'd have to say a great percentage of them first noticed him in this film. It was released in 1994, and had a star-studded cast. In the film, Joaquim portrayed Felix Cortez.

MOVIE TIDBITS Harrison Ford is well-known as a practical jokester. One morning Joaquim asked whether or not one of the final scenes in the film was going to be shot that day. In that particular scene, a wall falls down on him and buries him under a pile of wooden rubble. Apparantly Joaquim remarked that there might be a lot of bugs and spiders. Stories go that Harrison paid a staff member to go out and collect as many bugs and spiders as possible to plant just so there would be tons of them!
