We have the #Joaquim channel on Talk City. There are two ways you can use Talk City. First, you can enter the chat room right from this web site using the EZ Talk Launcher. To do this, you must have a Java-enabled browser (such as Netscape or MS Explorer).

The second way is by using the IRC. (you must use the server: chat.talkcity.com)

For first time users, I'd really suggest going to the Talk City page for New Users.

You also need to enroll and get a Nickname (which is free). Simply go to the Enrollment page and you'll be all set! Once you have your Nickname, you won't have to do that again.

The IRC version is faster. For information on how to set up your IRC software (such as MIRC, PIRCH) go to this page. That will show you exactly how to set things up.
